In completely predictable fashion, University of California, Berkeley students are responding to the anticipated event “Conservative Women in Media Panel,” by tearing down flyers. The event hosted by the Berkeley College Republicans is scheduled for February 15th and includes a panel of three conservative women: Kassy Dillon, Antonia Okafor, and Allie Stuckey. The Berkeley College Republicans, headed by Lone Conservative’s own Bradley Devlin, have been in high gear preparing for the event and advertising. Devlin issued a statement on behalf of the BCR’s: “I am deeply disappointed in the behavior of intolerant organizations on campus. This type of intellectual bigotry happens on campus routinely, and the Berkeley College Republicans will continue to condemn the immoral destruction of other’s property, but fight for their right to engage us in debate. That is precisely the point of advertising events like the Conservative Women in Media Panel, to help our student body engage in dialogue with a viewpoint that is in the intellectual minority.” It comes as a surprise to absolutely no one that leftist Berkeley students are not excited for an event offering conservative viewpoints from established conservative women, and are already making efforts to shut down and dissuade students from attending the event…
